Drywall Dust Doesn’t Belong in Your Move-In Day
A new build, remodel, or renovation isn’t finished when the last contractor leaves. Drywall dust gets into vents, settles on every surface, and lingers in places a regular vacuum won’t reach. Paint splatter, sticker residue on appliances and windows, and overspray on hardware all need a different toolkit.
We work with Shark HEPA vacuums, Rigid shop vacs, Goo Gone and denatured alcohol for paint and label residue, and a top-to-bottom wet-rag-then-dry-rag approach for drywall dust. HVAC vent covers come off, light bulbs are cleaned before handover, and windows get cleaned inside and out (with pressure washing for the exterior when needed).
What’s Included in Every Post-Construction Visit
Post-construction cleaning runs in three phases. Rough, light, and final. Every visit follows a top-to-bottom, left-to-right method built for construction residue. Here’s what gets handled:
- Drywall dust top to bottom. Wet rag then dry rag on every surface. HEPA Shark vacuums for floors and upholstery, Rigid shop vacs for heavy debris.
- Paint splatter, overspray, and sticker residue removed with Goo Gone and denatured alcohol on glass, windows, hardware, and fixtures.
- HVAC vent covers removed, dusted, and reinstalled to keep construction debris out of the system.
- Light bulbs cleaned before handover so fixtures look right under the warranty walkthrough.
- Windows inside and out. With pressure washing on exterior glass and siding when the job calls for it.
- Final walkthrough sign-off with you or the homeowner before we invoice. Anything that needs another pass gets it.
